Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order with GardenPutts. By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
About us
GardenPutts is a UK-based business specialising in the design and installation of bespoke putting greens. References to 'we', 'us', or 'our' in these terms refer to GardenPutts. You can contact us at [email protected].
Quotes and orders
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A quote does not constitute a binding contract. An order is confirmed only when we have received your deposit and issued a written order confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
Deposits and payment
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total order value is required to secure your installation date and begin material procurement. The remaining balance is due on the day of installation, prior to work commencing. We accept bank transfer and PayPal. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
Lead times and scheduling
Subject to weather conditions, we aim to complete your installation within 7 working days of receiving your deposit. We will confirm your installation date in writing. Lead times may be affected by factors outside our control, including adverse weather, supplier delays, or access issues. We will notify you promptly of any significant changes.
Installation
You are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the installation area on the agreed date. Any preparatory groundwork (such as levelling or drainage) that is not included in your quote remains your responsibility. If access is not available on the agreed date and we are unable to complete the installation, a rescheduling fee may apply.
Cancellations and changes
You may cancel your order at any time before installation. However, your deposit is non-refundable as it covers design, planning, and material costs already incurred. If you wish to make changes to your order after confirmation, we will do our best to accommodate these, but changes may affect the price and lead time. Significant changes requested within 7 days of the installation date may not be possible.
Warranty
All GardenPutts installations are covered by a 2-year workmanship warranty from the date of installation. Our artificial turf materials carry a manufacturer's warranty of up to 8 years against UV degradation and fibre breakdown under normal use. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, vandalism, extreme weather events, or modifications made by third parties.
Liability
Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total value of that order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of enjoyment or loss of use. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Use of this website
This website is provided for informational purposes. You may not use it for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the site. All content, images, and designs on this website are the property of GardenPutts and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
